Hello and welcome to The Guildford.

Since re-opening in 2006 with new ownership, The Guildford has gone from strength to strength gaining a reputation as a unique and stylish bar brasserie serving excellent and authentic French cuisine.

Head Chef Laurent Maillet creates varied and changing menus with produce regularly sourced directly from France, and served in beautiful, relaxed and friendly surroundings. If you are looking for a varied selection of drinks, The Guildford provides a variety stretching from fine wines to draught beer through to spirits and cocktails.

Having enjoyed a successful start, The Guildford is set to improve further as within the next few months a restaurant will be created on the first floor, thus allowing the separation of the restaurant from the bar, with the current ground floor bar/restaurant becoming a dedicated bar which will also serve 'snacky' brasserie food.

The Guildford also boasts a beautiful walled garden and decked terrace, an ideal location for families and gatherings during the summer months.  With an outdoor summer kitchen and ample seating the garden provides a perfect venue for private parties and events.  See for yourself in our photo gallery or garden link!
